Art has been a key aspect of my since I was very young. Through art I have been able to freely express how I am feeling through a variety of mediums. Later in life I hope to attend Northeastern University and become a speech pathologist. Though my career will not directly involve art, I know that I will always have a free way of expression no matter what life may bring. Taking photos has become a passion that I will never lose. One photographer who has greatly influenced me is Chema Madoz. Madoz often takes unconventional approaches to the way in which she creates her compositiongs. In seeing such successful and unusual compositions, I am able to better realize that I too can create unconventional and interesting compositions. My favorite way to work in photography is taking photos which represent either myself or others through symbolism. While shooting a self-portrait I photographed my favorite shoes in order to share that I have a love for fashion. Working with symbolism provides a unique way to portray a message of the values or interest of myself or others. Although I have worked in a variety of materials, photography is my current interest. Though I vary the mediums in which I express myself, art will always remain an aspect of my life, and it is good to know that there will always be a form of expression which I have no matter how stressful life in the future may seem.
